What is Bagasee ?

Ever heard of Bagasee ?

Bagasee is a word describing a renewable resource -like sugarcane.

In the past sugar cane residual fibers were thrown out after after processing. In a newer process these fibers are a better alternative to making paper.

• There is no cutting down of trees
• Takes less energy to produce
• No bleaching
• Less carbon dioxide produced in the process

Probably the best use for Bagasee is in making food containers. The plates,cups and containers are biodegradable. They can be turned to compost in as little as 30-90 days. Bagasee is completely microwaveable. It can handle heat up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and is completely freezer safe.

This is a great alternative for many reasons. I think the biggest advantage is not having to throw Styrofoam containers in the landfill anymore!

Facebook Gorilla Muhozi

Have you been on Facebook and noticed a Gorilla?

Muhozi is a Gorilla weighing about 400 pound and 7 ft tall looking for friends on Facebook and Myspace. It would not actually mind if you befriend it.

The Ugandun mountain Gorilla's are an endangered species. There are about 740 worldwide. There are about 340 living in a lush Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Abut 40 more live in a Ugandan Reserve. The rest live in the Virunga mountain range which stretches between Uganda and Rwanda which includes the war ravaged Congo.

The Gorilla's are threatened by poachers,farmers,and charcoal burners.Thier only protection are rangers with automatic rifles.

People of Wal Mart

A website started in August of 2009 recently has crashed due to t0o much traffic. The website is the people of Wal-Mart. The web site is not about employees or anybody that has anything to due with operations. It is about the shoppers of Wal-Mart.

People of Wal-Mart was started by 3 guys in South Carolina. They got the idea after shopping at Wal-Mart. Being in one aisle and seeing someone that looked like a stripper in an obscene t-shirt and leading a toddler with a harness. After that they turned the corner to see a man that had a ZZtop looking beard. From then the website was formed.

If you shop at Wal-Mart be careful how you dress or look. Someone might take a picture of you! There are people that will be offended by this. I think it shows how a small idea on the internet can unexpectedly explode!

Chupacabra

Is the Chupacabra real ?

The latin American mythical creature has supposedly been sighted recently. The Chupacabra is a Spanish word translated as Goatsucker, and has known to suck the blood from animals (I guess mainly from Goats). It has been described as a dead hairless Dog. also a Fox or Coyote infested with Mange.

Recently a Taxidermist in Blanco Texas claims to have a frozen preserved specimen. It apparently was spotted in Dewitt County of Texas. There are alleged photographs from Stillwell Oklahoma.

Is it real ? I don't think so because I find it hard to believe we have not documented the Chupacabra, unless someone missed it !

Guitar Hero 5 Review

The latest of the Guitar Hero games has been released on September 1 2009. Guitar Hero 5 has recieved mixed reviews,mostly being good. Among added songs and artists it features 3 other updates including Party Play,Momentum and Perfectionist. Party Play is a feature that allows a player to enter the game at any time. You can also change instruments and difficulty on the fly. Momentum in the Rockfest mode will change the speed of Guitar Hero 5 based on skill level. Faster for more skilled gamers and slower for less skilled players. Perfectionist is the mode in which you are awarded points for performance at different sections of the track with points being rewarded at the end of the track.
